Because financial sovereignty is a spiritual practice. Because the most common way to enslave a human being is through their relationship with money. Because no one who cannot feed themselves can walk free.

In October 2008, as the global financial system collapsed and governments bailed out the banks with money printed from thin air, an anonymous figure called Satoshi Nakamoto published a nine-page paper.
It described a new kind of money. No central bank. No permission. No one to print more of it. No one to freeze your account. Backed only by mathematics and the honest effort of every participant.
Two months later, Satoshi launched the network. He — or she, or they — wrote and released the code. Built the community. Then, in 2010, disappeared. Never cashed out. Never took credit. Never came back.
The gift was left on the doorstep of humanity. And the doorstep is where it remains.
